September Wish List
September is here, and with it autumn has arrived in the UK. Despite a gloriously sunny birthday weekend, the end of August has been a bit abysmal in terms of weather, and it seems that summer is truly over! I am a real summer lover, so this is a pretty sad time for me, but I am willing to embrace cool autumnal days if it means the countdown to Christmas can begin (yes, I said the C word!!).

Afternoon Tea at Stapleford Park
"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea"
After a wonderful weekend celebrating our 21st surrounded by our friends and family, Molly and I extended our celebrations with an afternoon tea for two at Stapleford Park. We received a voucher from our close family friends, and thought we may as well use it whilst we are both still at home.

August Wish List
August is upon us, and what a glorious month. Mainly because myself and my twin sister turn 21 this month, a mile stone birthday! As the last month of summer, August is all about squeezing out the most of the sunshine.

July Wish List
JULY? ALREADY?
We are now over halfway through 2015, which is a really crazy thought. Summer is by far my favourite season, and with this first week of July set to be a scorcher in England, I am one happy English Rosie!

Summer Bucket list
With June well under away, summer 2015 is now well and truly upon us.
This is a BIG summer for me. In July I will be graduating from University of Liverpool, and in August I will turn the big 21. Come September, I will begin my graduate career. So in essence, this is my last proper long student style summer (even though I am no longer a student, sad times!).

Day Trippin'
On a sunny Sunday (yesterday to be precise!) I boarded a train to make the short trip from Liverpool to Manchester. I made the trip to spend a day with one of my old school friends, Harley, who has recently made the move up North.

June Wish List
In my eyes June is one of the most exciting months of the year. It signifies the OFFICIAL start of the British summer. The days get longer and lighter, and everyone seems to have a little more spring in their step! This wishlist includes a good dose of summery bits and pieces, and will hopefully get you all excited for the summer season.

May Wish List
If May were an emotion, I think it would happy anticipation. It signifies the drawing nearer and nearer of Summer, of bbq's outdoors, of beach days and eating ice creams on long walks. For many, it is also a time of immense pressure and stress as exams loom. To keep a happy heart and not delve too deeply into finals woes, I have written a wish list for what I am lusting for this month.

April Wish List
I love April. As well as being a month full of flowers, lambs and blossom, it also includes Easter! Easter is like a mini, less stressful Christmas. It is a time to see family and friends and enjoy the little things in life, including some chocolate, of course! April is set to be a busy month for me, which makes it even more exciting!

A Weekend at Home
After celebrating Emma and Ellen's birthdays on Friday night, I hopped on the train back home for the night. My flying visit home was in honour of celebrating my Grandparents golden wedding anniversary on Sunday. I admire them both for making it to 50 years of marriage, it really is a feat!
Before the celebrations began on Sunday, my Mum organised a 'safari supper' at home. The concept is simple, each couple prepares a course, but it must be kept top secret until the food is served. You then score each other and the winner is crowned at the end!
Naturally, we started with champagne and olives.

Liverpool Bucket List
<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/13834027/?claim=w5fewpe9kr6">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>
Unbelievably, my University journey is nearing the end. It seems like two minutes ago that I was first touring the Liverpool campus and soaking up the Scouse culture, deciding that this was the place I wanted to spend my undergraduate career.
This week marked the beginning of the end. Our graduation dates have been announced, and I am currently studying for my final semester of my BA. Time flies when you're having fun!
Over the past few weeks, Emma and I have been jotting down the places we want to visit before we leave the city. Despite living here for almost three years, there are still so many places I haven't yet experienced. We decided to make an official 'bucket list' of these places, and promised to tick them all off by the end of the semester.

March Wish List

March means one thing. Spring is firmly on its way!
Admittedly, it did not quite feel that way this morning as I battled the wind on my walk to the library. However, I remain optimistic that the next few weeks we will see the sun shine more, the days get longer and the temperature just a little warmer (crossing my fingers for that last one!).
I have decided to start doing a monthly round up of things I am looking forward to in the next month. Rather than doing the list at the end, I thought it would be fun to look ahead at what I'm lusting for in the coming few weeks.

NYE at Winter Wonderland
After a wonderful Christmas spent at home, NYE seemed like the perfect opportunity to get out of our home town for a few days and do some exploring.
Molly, Huw, James and myself opted to spend NYE day in London, hot footing around all of the festive sights before everything was packed away for another year.

The Happiness Project- Things Which Have Made Me Happy This Week
You're never fully dressed without a smile.
I've been thinking about happiness, and what makes me happy, a lot recently.
Due to this, and on the recommendation of a few people, I've decided to start writing a weekly happiness post. Inspired by one of my favourite bloggers weekly '10 things that've made me happy this week' post, I'm going to write a post with 5 things which have made me smile, giggle and generally appreciate life in the past week. Some of things will be small, some will be bigger, but they will all have the shared quality of inducing happiness.

Sefton Park Bonfire Night
"Remember, remember the fifth of November, gunpowder, treason and plot. I see no reason, why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot."
Bonfire night is my second favourite holiday, after Christmas of course. It is the time of year when you really know autumn has hit us, and winter is well on its way. Everyone gathers together in the crowd, warming our fingers with mulled wine and gazing in to the sky in anticipation.

Real Food Market at Southbank Centre
London is a dream world for foodies. Being such a multicultural city, London boasts pretty much every cuisine in the world, tightly crammed into the bustling streets of the city.
If you want a proper foodie venture, a real food market is the place to go.
James and I hotfooted down to Southbank on Friday, where the Real Food Market had been set up, right by the river.
The market is a showcase of 40 stalls of producers, celebrating and supporting local businesses and start-ups. Our research had promised us the very best of fresh food and the most creative vendors on the street food scene, and we were far from disappointed.
I know you are all dying to sample the best of street food, so let's delve in!

Burghley House Film Festival
Burghley House, a beautiful Elizabethan stately home near Stamford, is one of the gems of the East Midlands. I am a bit of an OAP in my love for visiting stately homes, and Burghley is no exception.
It was just my then luck when, last week, Burghley House hosted their annual film festival. Burghley host the festival every summer, but this is the first time my friends and I have been.

Come Dine With Me Dinner
Come Dine With Me is one of my guilty pleasures. Molly, James and I decided to have a crack at our own version. We decided to do it all in one, a course each. James chose the starter, Molly the main and I did the pudding.
We set the table, made name cards, menus and even score sheets!
Moroccan Feasting
One of the best things about being home for the holidays is catching up with your loved ones. Family and friends are two of the major contributors to my happiness, and spending quality time with them is fundamentally important to me.
So I was more than delighted when one of my closest friends Bex invited the girls over for a dinner party. Recently returned from Marrakesh, Bex had promised us a Moroccan themed night of fun, food and fantastic company (if we say so ourselves). Armed with a bottle, or two, Molly and I headed over to Bex's rural abode.
Greeted by our glowing hostess and a house filled with the delicious aroma of North African cuisine, we poured our first glass and got chatting.
