March Wish List

March means one thing. Spring is firmly on its way!
Admittedly, it did not quite feel that way this morning as I battled the wind on my walk to the library. However, I remain optimistic that the next few weeks we will see the sun shine more, the days get longer and the temperature just a little warmer (crossing my fingers for that last one!).

I have decided to start doing a monthly round up of things I am looking forward to in the next month. Rather than doing the list at the end, I thought it would be fun to look ahead at what I'm lusting for in the coming few weeks.

Here is my March wish list-

To Visit:

Artisans in the Palm House

The Artisans events are always wonderful. They bring together an array of talented people to celebrate creativity and artistry in the surroundings of the Palm House, Sefton Park. I have written about their events before here and here, and cannot wait to attend the spring event!

To See:

Cinderella

I am beyond excited to watch this film at the cinema when it is released at the end of the month. It is no secret that I love Disney. The Disney store is one of my happy places, and there sometimes is nothing better than singing along to the Disney princess CD. Even better, this film is directed by one of my favourite directors Kenneth Branagh, and stars Downton Abbey's Lily James as the Princess herself.

To Eat

Raggas

I could have put a number of Bold Street establishments on to this list as I have been making a mental list of all the places I need to visit before I graduate in the summer. Top of my list is the newly opened Raggas, a caribbean cafe which has been widely praised for its authenticity and tasty dishes!

To Read

Hemsley Hemsley- The Art of Eating Well

I have been meaning to buy this book for a while. I think it will be a great read for this time of year as it is awash with colourful dishes which will inspire me in the kitchen. The Hemsley sisters are everywhere at the minute and with their wonderful recipes it is easy to see why.

To Buy

Happiness Project One Sentence Journal

Having recently finished The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin, this one-sentence journal is top of my wish list this month. The idea of writing a little something down to document my life was something which intrigued me, and from my new found love for time-hop, I believe it will be a fun thing to look back on in the future!

To Wear

Victoria Secret Swim Wear Range

Ok, so I am not going anywhere exotic or requiring swim wear anytime soon. However, VS have just released the first ever swim wear range, and I couldn't help but have a nosey through. These two sets are my favourites. Now I just need to get booking some holidays in which I can frolic around the beach and in the sea!

Happy March!

And I'm infinitely more excited about Cinderella now I know Kenneth Brannagh is directing. Eeeek.

  4. I have the Happiness Project One Sentence Journal and I love it! I am on my fourth year now and it's amazing looking back at what I did one, two, and three years ago everyday! I highly recommend it if you're good at routines. (You really have to write in it everyday otherwise you lose track really quickly!)
I love the Hemsley Hemsley book too! x
