This Weeks Happiness List

Now its time to come clean. I have been badly neglecting my blog recently.
What with being bogged down with final year assignments and examinations, filling in applications for graduate jobs and zooming all over the country to visit my loved ones, I haven't done a happiness list in FOREVER.

A Taste of the Middle East- Tabbouleh

It is no secret that I am a massive middle eastern cuisine fan. Unfortunately, I have never been to any of the places where the dishes I love originate, therefore, my understanding of the dishes is based purely on recipes and restaurants I have visited in the UK (and a few dotted around Europe!).

My favourite part of Lebanese/Moroccan cuisine is mezze. I love picking and choosing what to eat, having a little bit of everything and sharing with all your friends and family. At which point I come to my tabbouleh. A fresh herby salad which pairs perfectly with an array of vegetarian and meat mezze dishes, and is perfect served with a dollop of hummus on top.

A Rosie Outlook for 2015

To keep up with a new tradition of mine, I have decided to write another outlook post in the wake of the new year.

Last years post of (almost) the same name has been one of my most popular to date, and therefore I thought it wise to cast my mind to writing about some mottos which I wish to follow in 2015, all to help me become a healthier, happier and more fulfilled person!

First things first, a recap of 2014.

NYE at Winter Wonderland

After a wonderful Christmas spent at home, NYE seemed like the perfect opportunity to get out of our home town for a few days and do some exploring.

Molly, Huw, James and myself opted to spend NYE day in London, hot footing around all of the festive sights before everything was packed away for another year.

First stop, Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.

Happiness Project- 5 Happy Things

The festive period is well and truly here. It really is beginning to look a LOT like Christmas. I am actually writing this post, surrounded by wrapping paper and listening to my Xmas 2014 playlist on spotify.

With that in mind, the majority of my list comprises of Christmas based happiness, so if you are a bit of a grinch, please don't complain! 'Tis the season to be jolly after all!
